Dogs are indeed just like our kids. This statement is true in almost all aspects. Of course, they depend on us for their survival. We buy them things to make their lives comfortable, and we give them all the love that we can afford to give. Lucky for us, they give this love back and more.
But just like kids, there are plenty of times that we have to tell them what to do, or perhaps what not to do. One thing’s for sure, dogs like being dogs any time and any place. We can’t really blame them as they don’t have any idea on how to behave during certain situations.
Unfortunately for Senatorial candidate Martha McSally, her dog decided to be himself during an important speech that was going to be uploaded on the internet. Back in November of 2018, McSally accepted defeat to her rival, Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema.
McSally recorded a speech regarding her acceptance and wished Sinema success during her term. It was an emotional moment for the supporters of McSally and supporters of Sinema applauded her for being graceful in defeat and wishing her rival well, a really classy move.
It was a pretty important moment during the elections for all Arizonians but Boomer, McSally’s trusted partner, was not affected at all. The video starts off with McSally delivering her speech in her living room with Boomer right beside her. Looking good and smiling for the camera.
But moments later, the pup became a little unsettled and started to sit up and started pawing at McSally. The Senatorial candidate clearly was trying to make her naughty puppy behave, but he was having none of it. It seemed that he wanted to ask her mom to play with him. Dog lovers found it funny and shared the video for this dog’s antics. See the video below.
Congrats to @kyrstensinema. I wish her success. I’m grateful to all those who supported me in this journey. I’m inspired by Arizonans’ spirit and our state’s best days are ahead of us. pic.twitter.com/tw0uKgi3oO
