It is normal to see birds flying up in the sky. And sometimes you can see something from them that is falling from the sky, which is their feces.
But what if you see a dog falling from the sky and clasps of a bird? What will you do?
This is what happened to a chihuahua near Austin, Texas. The workers in the construction site heard dog’s cries and they thought that a dog was trapped under the debris or is somewhere hiding in the perimeter.
The communications director for the Austin Animal Center, Jennifer Olohan said, “They were going around the construction site trying to figure out where these cries were coming from. And then they realized it was actually coming from the sky.”
What happened is a hawk was flying in the sky during that time clutching the small pup. With a tiny size, the pup was a perfect meal for the hawk. However, being afraid, the pup cried and was desperately asking for help as he is up in the sky.
Maybe the hawk wasn’t prepared to deal with all the crying that is why he let go of the pup, while in the air.
The pup who was named Tony Hawk, later on, fell in the midst of the workers. Miraculously, the chihuahua only received wounds on his head with no major injury nor a broken bone despite the fall.
Tony Hawk was brought immediately to the medical clinic for a check-up and medical attention and from there the Austin Animal Center took care of him. Nobody has an idea where he came from, whether he was a stray dog or with a home.
Despite the lack of information, Tony Hawk was still provided a foster home while in recovery from the fear and trauma of what happened to him. And in a few months, he will be up for adoption.
According to Olohan, she thinks that Tony Hawk will not wait long for someone to adopt him as a lot of people had an interest in him and his story and there are a lot of applications for him.
With an unknown past, Tony Hawk is safe now from the clutches of predator birds. And he is ready to have an amazing future with his future family and its future forever home. He will surely be a heaven-sent for his future family.
